The Wellington Ridge Homeowners
Association (HOA) has a detailed set of Covenants, Conditions, and
Restrictions (CCR’s) that must be followed by all homeowners in the
Wellington Ridge subdivision. The CCR’s can be found on the

Within the CCR’s a committee has been
designated to review, and approve or deny, all changes to the CCR’s that
pertain to the appearance or condition of the property. This committee
is called the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) and is part of the
elected Wellington Ridge subdivision Board of Directors.
- A form has been designed to make
it easy and quick for a homeowner requesting a change in the
appearance of their property to have the ACC discuss the desired
changes with the homeowner, and expeditiously approve or deny the
request. This form is called the Wellington Ridge HOA ACC Action
Request. This form can be found by clicking below:

- When a homeowner requests
permission to make a change in the appearance of their property,
they should go to the website and download the form which can be
filled out online or printed and mailed to PO Box 6906 Tacoma, WA 98417.
a. If the
request does not require plans or drawings, the form may be
submitted from the website by filling out the form online, saving a
copy then sending to
acc@wellingtonridgehoa.org.
b. If plans or detailed drawings are
required, the form should be printed and filled out completely and
sent to the HOA P.O. Box with the plans or drawings.
In either case the request will be
given to the ACC members for expeditious review.
Appeal: If the ACC denies a homeowner
request, the homeowner may appeal the ruling to the entire Board of
Directors and defend their reasons for appeal. If the majority of board
members deny the appeal, the case is closed and the action stands. This
would only be done if the request is in direct violation of the CCR’s.
Procedure for changing the CCR’s: The
procedure for requesting a change is outlined in the CCR’s.
At the conclusion of the request
procedure a letter will be sent to the homeowner from the Wellington
Ridge HOA Management Association. This form will be kept on file with
the Management Association to document the project and the action taken.
